Kedah Darul Aman is the next Northwestern state after Perlis in Penisular Malaysia. Same with Perlis, Kedah is also attached to Thailand, separated by boarder. The state of Kedah covers a total area of 9,425 sq km of land, which also includes an island called Langkawi.
